Back for another year, there were beach arena demonstrations with fantastic military vehicles and displays from the Army.

New for 2015 were daily shows featuring quad bike stunts and jumps from the Kangaroo Kid!

Enthusiasts saw hundreds of beautiful classic cars and bikes on display.

Heart Monster Truck Arena – Bournemouth Beach (East Cliff & beyond)

This year, one of Wheels’ most popular attractions was the Monster Truck Arena, supported by festival media partner, Heart. Not only had it doubled in size but showcased four massive monster trucks.

Crowds were wowed by car-crushing and power demonstrations – with up to seven 30 minute shows a day, including a grand finale featuring a spectacular quad bike jump over the monster trucks.

Entertainment Area – Bournemouth East Beach

There was entertainment for all the family! As well as lots of traders along the promenade and a festival funfair, there was a seafront stage on Bournemouth East Beach next to the pier, featuring bands Orange Street and The Jammers on Friday & Saturday evening.

New for 2015 – festival sponsor, Jeep brought interactive demonstrations and displays to their beach arena!

With space for eight passengers, festival goers climbed aboard a full size American monster truck for a thrilling ride that wasn’t for the faint hearted.

Returning for their second year, Team Extreme’s BMX riders and skaters were back with a breathtaking mix of tricks and freewheel stunts that delighted and amazed.

Supercar Show – Purbeck Hall, BIC

Epitomising motion, power and elegance, Wheels 2015 showcased some of the world’s most impressive models from leading names, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Aston Martin. See these high-end cars on display in the Purbeck Hall at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).

This was the holding area for vehicles on the Demonstration Straight (restricted access) and home to the Racing for Heroes British Touring Car Team.

There was a display on the Terrace at the back of the Pavilion Theatre, celebrating the early years of motoring. Spanning the generations and inspiring nostalgia.

Family Entertainment – Lower Gardens

Children enjoyed circus and hula hoop workshops, face painting and a unicyclist – fun for all the family in Bournemouth’s grade II listed Victorian gardens.

Action Sports Arena – West of Bournemouth Pier, on the Beach

Freestyle Motocross (FMX) was one of the festival’s most exciting and awe-inspiring attractions. Taking place in the Coastal BID Action Sports Arena to the west of Bournemouth Pier, these fearless riders performed a series of jaw-dropping stunts!

Live action, closed road Demonstration Straight – Cliff Top

The Demonstration Straight stretched along the length of the East Overcliff and gave festival-goers a chance to line the course and watch bikes, karts, historic F1, Le Mans, Touring, Rally and Supercars in action!

New for 2015 were pop-up stunt arenas along East Overcliff Drive hosting a variety of thrilling displays and shows. Fans watched precision driving, karting and even a lawn mower display team! The big stunt came courtesy of precision driving expert, Paul Swift, who drove the length of the Overcliff on just two wheels!
